After five amazing years in sunny San Diego, California, Brewbound today announced that it has relocated its full-day business conference, the Brewbound Session, to another beachside locale with a vibrant and emerging craft beer scene: Santa Monica.
The 2017 Winter Brewbound Session will take place on Wednesday, November 29, at the Loews Santa Monica Beach Hotel (1700 Ocean Ave., Santa Monica, California).
What to Expect
As always, Brewbound Session attendees will have the opportunity to engage in thought-provoking conversations with leading brewers, distributors, retailers and investors, while gaining access to key insights that can be used to further the growth of their emerging brands.
The 2017 winter event has been specifically designed to help brewers more successfully navigate a competitive beer marketplace, with presentations and panels that will examine the future of beer brewing, distributing and retailing.
Discussions that focus on problem-solving, as well as the evolution of marketing and retail strategies, will be also be explored.
A welcome reception is also planned for Tuesday, November 28 and ample networking and product sampling opportunities will be offered to attendees.

Startup Brewery Challenge 9
In addition to conversations with leading industry experts, the Brewbound Session will also feature the ninth installment of the Startup Brewery Challenge. Sponsored by Craft Brew Alliance, this one-of-a-kind business pitch competition gives new craft brewery entrepreneurs and emerging brands an opportunity to show off their business plans, sample one core product offering and receive immediate feedback from a panel of five expert judges.
The brewery owner with the best overall pitch and product will receive $5,000 to be used to fuel the growth of their emerging business. The winning brand will also receive an all-expenses-paid trip to Portland, Ore.
