SBC8_970

The Startup Brewery Challenge, Brewbound’s one-of-a-kind business pitch competition for craft brewery entrepreneurs, will return for an 8th installment at the Brewbound Session business conference, taking place on June 15 in New York City.

New craft brewery entrepreneurs will have an opportunity to participate in the Startup Brewery Challenge, presented by Craft Brew Alliance, and compete for a chance to win $5,000 and take an all-expenses paid trip to Portland, Oregon.

Standing before hundreds of brewery owners, investors, distributors and other beer industry professionals, Startup Brewery Challenge 8 finalists will have four minutes to show off their business plans, sample one core product offering and receive immediate feedback from a panel of five expert judges.

The brewery owner with the best overall pitch and product will receive $5,000 to be used to fuel the growth of their emerging business. Two members from the winning company will also receive an all-expenses-paid trip to Beervana, where they will meet with and learn from CBA executives, take an extensive tour of the company’s production brewery, participate in Widmer Brothers’ daily taste panel and receive business coaching from the CBA team.

In addition to those prizes, the winning entrepreneur will also receive a free entry into the Winter 2017 Brewbound Session.
