Brew Talks Tampa will take place at Cigar City Brewing on Tuesday, February 23 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM ET and consist of craft beer business discussions and industry networking. Brew Talks events provide a platform to widen your perspective, engage with like-minded beer industry professionals and find new ways to grow your business.

Video: Growth Strategies, Florida’s Craft Scene Discussed at Brew Talks Tampa

Brewbound kicked off its 2016 Brew Talks tour this week with a stop at Cigar City Brewing in Tampa, Florida, where 100 beer industry professionals convened to talk about the state’s emerging craft beer industry. Joining the evening’s first conversation were Cigar City founder Joey Redner and Tim Schoen, CEO of Brew Hub, a large-scale contract outfit that produces beer for a variety of craft beer partners. Together, the pair shared thoughts on how small brewers could navigate an increasingly competitive landscape and discussed ways in which craft operators should manage periods of rapid growth.

Program for Brew Talks Tampa Announced

Five local brewers and retailers with an intimate knowledge of the Florida beer scene will join the program. The evening’s first conversation with Cigar City founder Joey Redner and Brew Hub founder Tim Schoen will explore creative growth strategies for craft brewers. A second panel featuring Chris Larue, the merchandising & analytics director at ABC Fine Wine & Spirits, Cigar City vice president Justin Clark and Coppertail Brewing president Kent Bailey will discuss Florida’s emerging craft beer scene.
