Brewbound Session Adds a Pair of Retail Experts
Brewbound is pleased to announce the addition of a pair of retail experts to its speaker lineup for the May 2 Brewbound Session in Boston. The all-day business conference geared towards the strategic development of craft beer businesses will be held at the Revere Hotel in downtown Boston.
Liz Crews, the vice president of Nielsen’s beverage alcohol team, and Tom Fox, a partner with CM Profit Group, will provide Brewbound Session attendees insight into important retail channels for craft beer sales.
Both Crews and Fox bring a deep understand of beer, wine and spirit category management strategies and an ability to identify trends, emerging styles and segments through current data. Nielsen is a leading, global provider of information and insight and its figures are regularly referenced by major media organizations when covering craft beer. CM Profit Group works closely with many beverage clients to provide solutions to improve retail sales.
Both presenters will arm craft brewers and distributors with tangible data they can leverage for retail growth, and sales calls.

About Tom Fox:
Fox is a nationally recognized leader in category management and national accounts within the beverage alcohol industry. He’s worked over 20 years in the industry, starting out as a Sales Manager for a distributor, then in the National Accounts department with Miller Brewing Company to the Vice President of National Accounts for Stroh’s. As a Partner with CM Profit Group, Tom provides his clients with solutions for better selling. He works with suppliers and distributors to increase their market share by incorporating category management competencies into their organizations and drive “win-win” relationships with their key account customers.
Tom contributes regularly to many industry publications, plus has been selected as the Category Management presenter at the Nightclub and Bar Show for the last 3 years and every NBWA convention since 1999, he’s spoken at the FMI Convention, the National Association of Convenience Stores Convention, Craft Brewers Conference, the Brewers Association of America Conference and has facilitated several retailer roundtables for numerous industry associations.

Liz Crews currently serves as Vice President, Analytic Lead for Nielsen Beverage Alcohol Practice Area. In this role, Liz is focuses on developing analytic solutions and frameworks specifically designed for beer, wine and spirits clients spanning across pricing/promotion, assortment, segmentation/targeting, and watch/buy integration. Liz has worked with many global national clients spanning across the consumer packaged goods, electronics, retail, and a number of initiatives with government bureaus.
