Brewbound’s ‘Brew Talks’ Travels to Portland, ME today announced that it will host its next in an ongoing series of BrewTalks at the Great Lost Bear in Portland, Maine. New England-based beer industry professionals are invited to attend the free event, which will begin at 7 P.M. on Wednesday, Feb. 20.

Launched in January, the Brew Talks series is a set of educational and networking events for craft brewers held in beer-friendly locales.

In Maine, will take over the back room at the Great Lost Bear, Portland’s best-known craft beer bar. The event will feature a discussion involving two Maine-based craft brewery owners: Luke Livingston, the founder of Baxter Brewing Co., and Heather Sanborn, the co-founder of Rising Tide Brewing Company. The talk, moderated by editor Chris Furnari, will explore the decision-making process behind craft brewery expansions.

Brew Talks events are intimate, traveling meetups for beer industry professionals. The free events serve as an educational and networking opportunity for craft brewers, distributors and retailers to come together and have in-depth discussions on the craft beer business. All Brew Talks events are broadcast globally via a free live stream for those unable to physically attend.
