Point Horizon Wheat Wins Triple Crown of Beer

STEVENS POINT, Wis. September 20, 2010 – With a new Gold Medal from the Great American Beer Festival, Point Horizon Wheat has accomplished a rare feat – gold medals
in three of the United States' leading beer competitions in one year.

The unfiltered wheat ale from the Stevens Point Brewery received its latest Gold Medal September 18 in the American-style Wheat Beer with Yeast category, which
attracted 43 entrants at the 2010 Great American Beer Festival (GABF). Held annually in Denver, the GABF is the largest commercial beer competition in the world. This
year 3,523 beers vied for medals in 79 categories judged by 151 beer judges from 10 countries. Gold, silver and bronze medals are awarded in each category, recognizing
the best examples of each style in the United States.

In April Point Horizon Wheat won the Gold Medal in the same category at the 2010 World Beer Cup. Dubbed "the Olympics of Beer," the biannual World Beer Cup is

organized by the not-for-profit Brewers Association of Boulder, Colo., which also produces the GABF. In July, Point Horizon Wheat was awarded a Gold Medal in the
Wheat Ale category of the World Beer Championships, an ongoing beer competition organized by the Chicago-based Beverage Testing Institute. Point Horizon Wheat also
won Gold at the 2008 World Beer Championships.

"The Gold Medal at the Great American Beer Festival is the icing on the cake for Point Horizon Wheat this year," said Joe Martino, Stevens Point Brewery Operating Partner.

"Out of more than 3,500 of beers judged in Denver, only 79 were worthy of Gold Medals and we are thrilled Point Horizon Wheat is one of them. We have always brewed Point
Horizon Wheat to be a world-class wheat ale. Now we've got gold medals from three of America's top beer judging competitions that prove it's the best wheat ale in the
country."

Point Horizon Wheat
Available in 12-ounce longneck NR bottles and kegs in the Stevens Point Brewery's core markets in Wisconsin, Illinois, Iowa and Minnesota, Point Horizon Wheat is brewed with
malted spring wheat, specialty barley malts and Cluster, Willamette and Liberty hops. It is top-fermented with American ale yeast and features a thick, creamy white head and a
rich golden color.

Because Point Horizon Wheat is unfiltered, it pours cloudy. The wheat gives the beer a delightful citrus character, which is enhanced with a garnish of lemon, lime or orange
slices, according to Ken Carlson, Director of Brewing. He describes Point Horizon Wheat as "smooth, well-balanced and thirst-quenching." Point Horizon Wheat is a great
accompaniment for many types of food, complementing pasta dishes and other grainbased foods especially well.

The Stevens Point Brewery
Stevens Point Brewery, founded in 1857, uses only the highest-grade barley malts, specialty malts, grains and the choicest hops to brew their handcrafted beers, including
flagship Point Special Lager, which won the gold medal in the American Premium Lager category at the 2003 GABF.

In addition to Point Horizon Wheat, Point's year-round specialty beers include Point 2012 Black Ale, a dark ale inspired by traditional German "schwarzbier" or black beer;
Point Belgian White, a Belgian-style wheat ale flavored with orange peel and coriander; Point Burly Brown American Brown Ale, an American-style brown ale introduced in
February; Point Cascade Pale Ale, a hoppy American-style pale ale brewed with Cascade hops from the Yakima Valley; and Point Amber Classic, an American-style amber lager.

lager for the spring; Point Nude Beach Summer Wheat, an award-winning unfiltered wheat ale; and Point Oktoberfest, a Bavarian-style Märzen beer for the fall.
