Qualifications

  3. Hard worker / Willingness to be part of team 
  4. Ability to lift up 130lbs (half barrel keg full weight)
  5. Can tolerate the Texas summer (or winter) 
  6. High school or equivalent (preferred)
  7. Forklift certified (preferred) 


Job Duties


  1. Perform all or part of the brewing process, including mixing/blending raw materials, water, and ingredients per SOPs
  2. Monitor fermentation (temps/gravities/pH/DO as applicable), track progress, and report/escalate abnormalities
  3. Check quality of wort/beer before and after fermentation and filtration; conduct sensory evaluation and document results
  4. Clean and sterilize brewhouse, cellar tanks, lines, and processing equipment (CIPs/SIPs), verifying cleanliness standards
  5. Execute standard cellar operations: transfers, dry hopping, carbonation, conditioning, filtration/processing, and tank management
  6. Assist with packaging support as needed (keg cleaning/kegging/canning/bottling/labeling) and staging finished beer
  7. Maintain safe and organized work areas; follow all safety, chemical handling, and confined-space procedures as required
  8. Assist with inventory management and movement of raw/finished goods; complete production-related data entry
  9. Coordinate daily priorities with Production Manager; may work with minimal supervision on routine work and receive detailed instructions on new assignments
