Brew Talks Travels to Austin Next Week

Brewbound today announced its speaker lineup for the upcoming Brew Talks meetup, taking place August 7, in Austin, Texas, during the NBWA’s sixth annual Next Generation Success in Leadership Conference.

The industry-only Brew Talks event, presented by Dogfish Head Craft Brewery, will feature two panel discussions on the business of craft brewing.

Joining a panel on evolving craft beer portfolio strategies will be Dogfish Head’s vice president of sales, Todd Bollig, and Independence Brewing Company co-founder Amy Cartwright.

A second panel featuring NBWA chief economist Lester Jones, Hops & Grain founder Josh Hare and Austin Beerworks co-founder Adam DeBower will explore local and national craft beer trends, the impact of direct-to-consumer sales on marketplace dynamics and ongoing legislative issues throughout Texas.

Brew Talks Next Gen will give Texas-based brewers, distributors, and retailers, as well as attendees of the NBWA’s Next Gen conference, the opportunity to come together and take part in honest conversations about the state of the beer industry.

As the exclusive brewery partner, Dogfish Head will serve a selection of its brews, including Liquid Truth Serum IPA. In addition to receiving two drink tickets, attendees will be able to snack on various appetizers throughout the evening.

The events are also broadcasted globally via a free live stream. Brewbound has raised more than $50,000 for 24 non-profit organizations and connected with more than 2,900 beer industry professionals since 2014.
