ABOUT ASAHI BEER USA / OCTOPI BREWING

Founded in 2014 as a Wisconsin contract brewery, Octopi Brewing has spent over a decade brewing and packaging beer, seltzers, RTDs, and sodas for clients nationwide. In 2024, Asahi — brewers of Asahi Super Dry — acquired Octopi, making us the U.S. production home of Super Dry. Today, our 250+ person team of beverage industry pros keeps that same local, quality-first spirit alive at a state-of-the-art facility.

A REAL PATH TO GROW

Every brewing role at Octopi plugs into our Brewer Career Matrix — a clear, structured way to build new skills, take on more, and move between cellar, batching, and brewhouse over time. Wherever you start, there's a real path forward without needing to leave Octopi to find it.

BATCHING TEAM BREWER

What You'll Do:

•     Learn, understand, and operate all brewhouse piping and equipment

•     Execute efficient brewing operations from raw material intake to finished wort

•     Perform routine quality checks, basic maintenance, and CIP on brewhouse equipment and piping

WHAT YOU BRING

Must-haves (all brewing roles):

•     Company-paid life, short-term, and long-term disability insurance

•     401(k) eligible after 3 months, with company match — 100% up to 3%, 50% on the next 2%

•     120 hours of PTO annually, with accrual that grows the longer you're here

•     9 paid holidays (if they fall on your scheduled workday)

•     A free beer after shift, because you earned it

PAY BY SHIFT

Pay starts at $22.00/hr - $26.00/hr based on experience, with growth up to $34.00/hr through our tiered Brewer Career Matrix — whether you build that experience here or bring it with you, already brewed. This pay structure is the same across Cellar, Batching, and Brewhouse. Shifts outside of 1st shift include an additional shift differential on top of that base — never a lower starting rate, just added pay for the shift.

•     1st Shift — $22.00/hr (minimal base rate)

•     2nd Shift — $22.00/hr base + $3.00/hr shift differential = $25.00/hr (minimal total rate)

•     3rd Shift — $22.00/hr base + $4.00/hr shift differential = $26.00/hr (minimal total rate)

•     Weekend Day — $22.00/hr base + $5.75/hr shift differential = $27.75/hr (minimal total rate)

•     Weekend Night — $22.00/hr base + $7.75/hr shift differential = $29.75/hr (minimal total rate)

Full-time, non-exempt
