Job Description: 

Are you ready to help shape one of the fastest-growing categories in the beverage industry? Bayou City Hemp Company is seeking a Territory Manager to drive growth, execution, and strategic expansion across assigned markets.


This role goes beyond traditional sales—you will be responsible for owning your territory as a business, managing distributor relationships, developing market strategy, and ensuring best-in-class execution at retail.


We are looking for a driven, entrepreneurial operator with strong knowledge of the beverage industry and the ability to build and scale markets through both strategic thinking and hands-on execution.


Key Responsibilities:

·        Own and develop assigned territory, including strategic planning, account penetration, and market expansion

·        Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities across on- and off-premise channels

·        Manage and grow relationships with distributor partners, ensuring alignment on goals, execution, and performance

·        Drive distribution, velocity, and brand presence across key accounts for Company brands including Howdy, Beach Break, Wonder Water, and Ocho Verde

·        Lead execution of brand initiatives including promotions, tastings, and events

·        Analyze sales data, market trends, and competitive activity to inform strategy and provide actionable insights

·        Ensure merchandising standards and brand representation are consistently executed in-market

·        Manage key accounts, including regional chains and high-volume independents

·        Track and report performance against KPIs, including distribution gains, sales volume, and account growth

·        Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams (marketing, operations, leadership) to support market initiatives

·        Represent the Company at industry events, trade shows, and distributor meetings

Qualifications:

·        2–5+ years of experience in beverage, alcohol, CPG, or adjacent industries

·        Strong understanding of the three-tier distribution system

·        Proven ability to manage a territory and drive measurable growth

·        Experience working with distributors and retail buyers

·        Highly organized, self-motivated, and results-driven

·        Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills

·        Ability to analyze data and translate insights into actionable strategy

·        Willingness to travel within assigned territory as needed

·        Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and clean driving record

·        Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and support field execution
