Salary: $90,000 - $110,000 DOE + PFP Incentives

The Position:

The Regional Sales Manager “RSM” will be responsible for overseeing the following states: Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, and Hawaii. This position is a liaison between Alaskan Brewing, its distributors, and customers. The RSM will be responsible for meeting annual and project-related sales goals.

The Regional Sales Manger's responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Manages and maintains relationships with multiple distributors, potentially over multiple states, manages their daily activity and focus on Alaskan products, while ensuring they are meeting our annual agreed upon goals & objectives.
• Work closely with top management at the wholesale level to ensure Alaskan is a priority with the distributorship.
• Develops plan in coordination with Sales Leadership and Sales Chain team to achieve volume and distribution objectives for the region.
• Develops and presents quarterly sales meetings with distributors to set goals & objectives to be met for each quarter and review prior quarter performance. Monitors and enforces all aspects of the Alaskan Brewing Sales Agreement Contract and Wholesale Malt Beverage Distributor Agreement with wholesalers.
• Work closely with the Alaskan Chain Team to assist with regional chain presentations and meetings. 
• Oversees and manages sales forecasting for the region.
• Prepares and manages budget, expense reports and other administrative and legal requirements.
• Responsible for overseeing development plans for all employees under his/her direct supervision including performance reviews and skill development. Responsible for guiding direct reports to meet regions sales goals & objectives.

Reporting to the Director of Sales & Marketing, this person is an integral member of a dynamic, remote National Sales team. This position works in collaboration with other Sales team members as well as other brewery departments.  Knowledge and skills that are beneficial to be successful in this position include:

• 3-5 years Beer/Wine Industry Sales Experience.
• Detailed knowledge of malt beverage distribution and sales preferred.
• Prior supervisory experience.
• Excellent interpersonal, communications, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with various Microsoft Office programs.
• High ethical standards, excellent critical thinking, decision-making and judgment skills.
• All employees will act in accordance with local laws and regulations governing our business. 
• Residence in the region served required and office space in their home.
• Current driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Must have access to a personal vehicle for daily use. Mileage reimbursement provided for business use.
