Fremont Brewing Company is seeking a Vice President of Sales to lead commercial strategy and execution across Fremont Brewing, Pike Brewing, and Lost Lake Cider. This role owns revenue growth, wholesaler strategy, and sales execution across all markets, while serving as a key member of the senior leadership team.

The VP of Sales is responsible for building and leading a best-in-class sales organization, developing long-term growth strategies, and partnering cross-functionally to align sales, marketing, finance, and operations. The ideal candidate combines deep beverage industry expertise with strong financial acumen, leadership presence, and a hands-on operating mindset.

Core Responsibilities

Executive Sales Leadership

·      Lead collaboratively with the executive team to develop sales strategy and own execution across multiple brands and channels.

  • Build, develop, and lead a high-performing, multi-state sales organization.
  • Establish sales organization structure, roles, incentives, and performance expectations.
  • Serve as a senior leader and strategic partner to the executive team.

Revenue Strategy & Growth Planning

  • Develop and execute short and long-term revenue growth strategies aligned with company objectives.
  • Set, manage, and forecast company-wide sales targets and KPIs.
  • Lead annual sales planning, including volume, revenue, pricing, and margin strategy.
  • Identify expansion opportunities across geographies, channels, and brands.

Wholesaler & Key Account Leadership

  • Own senior-level relationships with wholesaler executives and key retail partners.
  • Lead annual wholesaler business planning, goal setting, and performance reviews.
  • Develop and manage wholesaler pricing strategies, incentives, and programming.
  • Ensure consistent execution standards and accountability across all distributor partners.

Financial Ownership & Performance Management

  • Own the sales budget and partner closely with Finance on forecasting, pricing, and profitability.
  • Drive disciplined use of trade spend, incentives, and sales investments.
  • Use sales data (VIP, Circana, Nielsen) to inform decision-making and course-correct performance.
  • Deliver regular performance reporting and insights to executive leadership.

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Partner with executive leadership on brand strategy, innovation launches, and go-to-market execution.
  • Collaborate with Operations and Supply Chain to align demand planning with production capacity.
  • Provide market intelligence to inform innovation, packaging, and portfolio strategy.
  • Act as a steward of company culture, values, and long-term brand equity.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (Business, Marketing, or related field preferred).
  • 8–12+ years of sales leadership experience within craft beer, beverage alcohol, or adjacent categories.
  • Proven experience leading multi-state, multi-brand sales organizations.
  • Strong understanding of wholesaler economics, pricing structures, and route-to-market dynamics.
  • Demonstrated success driving revenue growth while protecting margin and brand integrity.
  • Advanced financial acumen with experience managing budgets, forecasts, and trade spend.
  • Deep familiarity with industry data platforms (VIP, Circana, Nielsen).
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and executive presence.
  • Willingness and ability to travel extensively.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.

Preferred Experience

  • Existing senior-level wholesaler relationships in the Northwest, Westcoast and beyond.
  • Experience scaling brands or portfolios through periods of rapid growth or change.
  • Experience integrating new brands, markets, or acquisitions.
  • Working knowledge of brewing operations and draft systems.
