Position Summary

The Vice President Lost Forty Brewing is the senior operational leader for the brewery, with full accountability for commercial success, operational efficiency, and brand integrity across all business channels. This role drives cohesive strategy across wholesale sales, brewery production, and taproom experiences — ensuring each division performs at its highest level while working toward shared organizational goals.


This is a high-impact leadership role for a results-driven, brewery-minded professional who can think strategically, lead diverse teams, and translate vision into execution. Lost Forty Brewing operates as part of the Yellow Rocket Concepts family, with shared services support available across accounting, HR, culinary operations, and marketing.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership | Develops and executes the annual operational plan aligned with revenue targets and brand priorities. Monitor divisional KPIs, identify market opportunities and operational risks, and hold teams accountable to measurable outcomes.


Sales & Revenue | Partner with the Director of Sales to drive wholesale volume, distributor execution, and market share growth. Review and approve pricing strategies, promotional programs, and key account initiatives.


Brewery Operations | Ensure production capacity, quality standards, and cost-per-barrel goals are consistently met. Align production schedules with demand forecasting and seasonal planning. Oversee capital projects and equipment investments.


Taproom & Guest Experience | Oversee both the Lost 40 Taproom and Camp Taco on-premise locations. Optimize service models, staffing, event programming, and merchandise revenue to drive guest experience and direct-to-consumer performance.


People & Culture | Lead and develop a team of senior managers. Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Partner with HR on talent acquisition, performance management, and succession planning.


Financial Management | Own the divisional P&L. Manage budgets, forecast revenue and expenses, and drive profitability across all lines of business with regular reporting to ownership.


Qualifications

Required:

  • 7+ years of progressive leadership in craft beverage, food & beverage, or CPG
  • Demonstrated success managing multi-functional teams across sales, operations, and/or retail
  • Strong financial acumen with direct P&L ownership experience
  • Proven track record of achieving revenue and profitability targets in a competitive market
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and executive presence

Preferred:

  • Direct craft brewing or alcohol beverage industry experience, including three-tier distribution
  • Taproom or on-premise hospitality operations experience
  • Knowledge of Arkansas beverage regulations and market landscape
