The National Accounts Manager is the key driver of growth at Big Country Organic Brewing Co. In this role, you’ll lead strategic partnerships with national and regional on & off-premise chains.
Your mission is to expand Big Country’s presence in key accounts across the country—developing and executing sales strategies, managing buyer relationships, and delivering results that reinforce our position as a pioneer in organic craft beer. You'll work cross-functionally with sales, marketing, and operations to drive volume, secure new placements, assist with onboarding new distributors, and meet company goals.
Mission of the role:
The National Accounts Manager will be responsible for developing, guiding, and maintaining strong relationships with specified key chains accounts.
What you’ll do:
Driving volume and share growth through both distribution increases and brand promotions
Schedules and conducts regular sales calls with both customers and wholesalers
Develop and manage a go-to-market strategy for assigned key accounts
Track, analyze, manipulate data to help create strategic insights and action plans
Closely work with distributor managers to align on regional goals, opportunities, and forecasts
Regular in-market work to ensure high-level execution, evaluate the effectiveness of our placements/programs, and to identify opportunities
Skills needed:
· Strategic account management and relationship building with key retail and on-premise partners
· Strong negotiation and sales planning abilities
· Deep knowledge of the U.S. alcoholic beverage and brewing market
· Experience with distributor management and pricing strategies
· Data-driven decision-making and proficiency with CRM systems – VIP/Karma/iDig
· Excellent communication and presentation skills
· Understanding of brand positioning and category management
Who you are:
Minimum of 5 years of alcohol industry experience
Ability to manage multiple projects at once, establish priorities, strong detailed execution
Excellent written and oral communication skills and must be able to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization
Excellent analytical skills – demonstrated ability to translate information and data into actionable insights and strategic recommendations
Proven track record in building good relationships with retail customers, internal associates, and wholesalers.
Independent & motivated individual; ability to receive direction and convert into an action plan with coaching and feedback
Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Outside sales experience
Experience working in the alcohol / liquor / beer / wine industry
Comfortable using a CRM software

Salary: $95,000 base + annual performance bonus
