John P. Connell is a Boston lawyer who has been in private practice since 1992. John routinely represents breweries, wineries, distilleries, wholesalers, brokers and retailers both in TTB and ABCC licensing applications and compliance matters but also in litigation. John's practice sees a lot of distribution contract drafting and litigation before the Massachusetts ABCC when manufacturers seek to break away from their wholesaler. This summer, John successfully represented Nashoba Valley Winery in a well covered lawsuit against the Massachusetts ABCC which caused a change in the law this year that now allows wineries, breweries and distilleries to sell and pour their own products at multiple locations within a farm or orchard.
