Brew Talks, Brewbound's industry meetup, is presented by Dogfish Head. The free event series -- which usually occurs alongside the Craft Brewers Conference, the Great American Beer Festival and NBWA's Annual Convention -- has evolved into a virtual platform for brewers, distributors and retailers to engage in honest conversations about the state of the beer industry and how to best navigate the market.

Sam Calagione is the founder and CEO of Dogfish Head Craft Brewery in Milton, Delaware and Dogfish Head Brewings & Eats in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware. He also owns the Dogfish Inn in Lewes, Delaware. Sam is a 2016 James Beard Award recipient was named one of Fast Company's 100 Most Creative People in Business. The Wall Street Journal has called Sam "a Pioneer of bizarre brews."

As Vice President of Nielsen’s Beverage Alcohol Practice, Danelle leads industry thought leadership and best practice solutions to beer, wine, and spirits clients, industry groups, and the media. She is committed to leveraging Nielsen’s breadth of resources to provide an integrated and holistic understanding of consumer behavior and retail trends across beer, wine, and spirits. Danelle has 20+ years of marketing experience, and has been with Nielsen for 16 years. She has experience working across various clients in the food, beverage, and consumer goods industries, with the past 9 years focused on alcohol. Prior to joining the Beverage Alcohol Practice, Danelle led Nielsen’s business at Molson Coors in Chicago. Danelle received her MBA from the University of Pittsburgh, and her BA in International Studies and Economics from Allegheny College in Pennsylvania.

After working in restaurants throughout her teens and earning a degree in hotel and restaurant management from Drexel University, Tio started cooking at Philadelphia’s Ritz-Carlton hotel. Tio moved to Orlando. There she helped open three specialty restaurants for Walt Disney World: Spoodles, Citricos, and Palo. Tio truly made her mark during the following seven years heading the kitchen at Kansas City’s renowned American Restaurant. There she garnered both local and national accolades, including 2005 Chef Of The Year by Chef magazine and the James Beard Foundation’s 2007 Best Chef: Midwest. Chef Tio has gone to open Julian, and recently the Belfry and Collection Restaurant.
