Brewbound Session: Learn to Manage your On-Premise Presence
As part of its commitment to providing beer industry professionals with real guidance on succeeding in the retail environment, Brewbound.com is pleased to announce that it will feature a panel focusing on ‘on-premise’ sales.
The panelists, Bill Pecoriello, the CEO of on-premise data firm GuestMetrics, Chris Snyder, the VP of Purchasing at Bertucci’s restaurants, and Jamie Walsh, the bar manager at Stoddard’s Fine Food and Ale, will share first-hand insights into ramping up craft brand performance at both craft beer-focused bars and casual dining chains. They will discuss the best ways for retailers and suppliers to form productive relationships, as well as the challenges of working with small producers.
Snyder and Walsh will outline their priorities when making buying decisions, both for a single drinking establishment and for a regional restaurant chain with 92 outlets. In doing so, the panelists will explain how a growing craft brewer can expand into a multitude of on-premise chains without losing valuable tap handles in core craft establishments. Pecoriello will draw on personal interactions with retail purchasers from around the country to help provide a broad view of craft’s growing opportunities at on-premise.
Prior to the panel discussion, Pecoriello will also highlight differences in the buying habits of both retailers and consumers at casual dining chains versus beer-centric craft accounts. Leaning on information from thousands of restaurants and bars, he’ll also show the specific on-premise channels where there is growing opportunity for craft, as well as the most popular styles and formats in a variety of restaurant types. For those brewers interested in finding out how to maximize their ability to reach consumers on premise, and for those who want to help those brewers succeed in a variety of settings, this panel will offer invaluable guidance.
A few seats are remaining for the Brewbound Session in Boston.
