Denizens Brewing Company co-founder and chief brand officer Julie Verratti offered lessons on advocacy to craft brewers and entrepreneurs during the 2020 Brewbound Live business conference this past December.
Verratti, who was named Brewbound’s first Beer Champion of the Year in the 2020 Brewbound Awards for her efforts to support small businesses during the COVID-19 pandemic, discusses her personal journey to becoming a “fierce advocate” for small businesses and people in general. She also explains the importance of speaking up, coalition building and forging authentic relationships.
