TRVE Brewing Releases Red Chaos and Vol. 5

Denver, CO — Saturday, June 3rd at noon, TRVE Brewing Co. will release their final beer aged on fruit from the 2016 harvest. Red Chaos is a golden mixed culture ale aged on over three pounds per gallon of tart Montmorency cherries grown on the Western Slope of Colorado.

“The release of this beer is a great way to kick off our anniversary month,” states Nick Nunns, founder. “We pour a lot of ourselves into the month of June in order to celebrate what we feel we’ve accomplished throughout the year. For Red Chaos to let us know it’s ready for release this month is a pretty rad bonus.”

On Friday, June 9th at noon, TRVE will release their fifth anniversary beer, Vol. 5. As per tradition, the beer is a culmination of a year of hard work and dedication of the brewery staff, summing up the year’s work.

“Volume 5 is really representative of our fifth year at TRVE as 2016 saw us crafting a lot of saison-base beer. As we’ve used five different saison strains this can be considered a mixed fermentation beer, another focal point of the past year. Light dry hopping contributes some subtle flavors typically not representative of dry hopping, but more than anything the saison comes through,” says Zach Coleman, Head Brewer.

On June 23rd and 24th, TRVE will throw their annual Bacchanal at the Hi-Dive. TRVE will take over the taps, and has flown in bands from around the country to help celebrate the occasion. The band lineup includes Eternal Champion, Spirit Adrift, In the Company of Serpents, 908, and Rottstrotter on the June 23rd schedule, while the June 24th lineup features Ash Borer, Vastum, Of Feather and Bone, and Glacial Tomb.

ABOUT TRVE BREWING CO.
TRVE Brewing Co. was founded in the historic Baker neighborhood of Denver, Colorado on the summer solstice of 2012. Since its inception, TRVE has been a staple of the Denver brewing scene focusing on sessionable and crushable beers presented through the filter of a heavy metal aesthetic. TRVE has set itself apart from the typical experience found in the craft beer community with a wholly unique taproom, in which their original three barrel system resides. In the spring of 2015, TRVE began brewing at the Acid Temple – a ten barrel production facility dedicated to mixed-culture fermentation and experimentation.
