Springdale Beer and Against the Grain Collaborate on ‘Clear’ New England IPA

FRAMINGHAM, Mass. — Last Week, Springdale Beer released “Any IPA” in Collaboration with Against the Grain Brewery out of Louisville, Kentucky. Any IPA is a clear version of a New England IPA. The beer features over four pounds of hops per barrel and was designed to be as light in color as possible.

“This was a truly unique concept that challenged both breweries to execute a nearly impossible feat.” -Jack Hendler, Co-Owner of Springdale Beer.

The beer was first brewed in the beginning of April when the Springdale team traveled down to Louisville. It was then brewed at the Springdale Barrel Room. The idea has been in the works since the Great American Beer Festival last fall. Both teams wanted to challenge the “haze craze,” proving that not all hoppy beer needs to be opaque. It is also a reminder that hoppy beers can come in different shapes and forms, and are not to be taken too seriously.

”Remember, beer is fun, and also sometimes clear.” -Joe Connolly, Springdale General Manager.

Any IPA is now available on tap and in cans at both the Jack’s Abby Beer Hall and the Springdale Barrel Room. Any IPA is also in distribution throughout Massachusetts and New York. Stay tuned for Against the Grain’s release throughout their distribution network.
