Vancouver, BC  – Resignation Brewery is teaming up with Beerthirst to distribute it’s highly sought after beers in British Columbia. In November, KCCO Gold Lager will be hitting liquor store shelves, with some locations giving away KCCO Beer Pong tables, whilst others will be raising money for The BC Professional Firefighters Burn Fund.

After just one year of operation, Resignation Brewery broke into the top 100 biggest breweries in the US. Less than two years later, their brews were available US wide and now after some two and half years are welcomed to Canada.  Created by the founders of the digital lifestyle brand, theCHIVE, they aim to unite friends over a great tasting and accessible beer.

“Finally the wait it is over!” says Andrew Platt, Beerthirst’s Marketing Manager. “We’ve had a lot of interest in these beers and we’re really excited to finally give the people of British Columbia the chance to drink KCCO Beer!”

Beerthirst are also proud to announce that there will be four launch parties happening across four cities – Kelowna (O’flannigan’s), Vancouver (The Roxy), Victoria (Yates Street Taphouse) & Whistler (Garfinkel’s) – on November 28th, all helping to raise even more money for The BC Burn Fund.

$1 from every 6 pack sold in select liquor stores will be donated to The BC Professional Firefighters Burn Fund. Furthermore, 100% of proceeds from launch party ticket sales will be donated. The BC Burn Fund Centre will be a home away from home, free of charge, for British Columbian’s needing to travel to Vancouver for medical treatment due to burn and major trauma injuries. “They’re very close to reaching their funding goal and we would love to help them reach it. It’s a great cause and something that all British Columbian’s should get behind” says Platt. Tickets go on sale at 12pm (PST) on Friday 6th November available at www.beerthirst.com/kcco-tickets.
