Melvin Brewing Launches Rotating Imperial IPA Program

JACKSON, Wyo. — Melvin Brewing is introducing into the beer ecosystem an exciting new way of keeping you perpetually stoked. Every two months, one of our six irreverent Imperial IPAs will be on rotation in a market near you.

With this ground breaking rotational program, the next thing in the rotation is always the freshest and most innovative IIPA, only available in small batches and select markets.

As part of its paradigm shifting Rotational Imperial IPA program, one Melvin RIIPA will be released in select markets in cans and on draft every two months through 2018. The rotation, shown above (RIIPA chart), will be continually updated for retailers, vendors and consumers at

“Melvin Brewing was established in the heart of the Tetons, which provide the perfect background for making wicked Imperial IPA Melvin beers,” said Jeremy Tofte, Co-owner of Melvin Brewing. “Yet, once we started to share the secret recipes in limited cans the community started asking for more. Hence the desire to keep beer fresh and exciting we created the RIIPA series.”

Additionally, Melvin is introducing two entirely new Imperial IPAs that will fall into rotation, Hop Shocker and Chuck Morris. Rounding out the rotating lineup is: Asterisk; Citradamus; Drunken Master; and Lambda, Lambda, Lambda.

Introducing, Hop Shocker, available in Draft

Don’t touch me, ’cause I’m electric. And if you drink me, you’ll get SHOCKED! Experience pure uncut lupulin powder. In their clandestine lab in the wild of Yakima, the crew processed Mosaic + Simcoe hops into alpha acid pow pow. The Melvin posse inhaled deep, and the legend of the Hop Shocker was born.

Introducing, Chuck Morris, available in Draft

Business up front, party in the back. Chuck Morris is a Double IPA that will roundhouse kick, karate chop and machine gun its way to your heart. Dry hopped to perfection, strong like its namesake, but as balanced as a fighter doing the splits. Make sure to stretch first!

About Melvin Brewing

Melvin Brewing, born in 2009, is the beer child of Jeremy Tofte and Kirk McHale to fulfill their desire to drink the madness. Their quest was to produce the biggest and baddest West-Coast Style IPAs in Jackson, WY. Like true chemists, they experimented on a 30-gallon, then three-barrel brew house system, and developed the award-winning Melvin IPA and 2×4 Imperial IPA. Today, Melvin Brewing, named Brewery Group Brewer of the Year, is a highly decorated award winning brewery with a full-scale brewing facility in Alpine, WY, a brewpub in Bellingham, WA, and astoundingly, more than 40 mouthwatering beer recipes to its name, including a range of hoppy beers and other styles such as ChChCh-Cherry Bomb (Fruit Beer), Killer Bees (Honey Ale), Coffee Ruckus (Coffee Imperial Stout) and Wu’Wit (Belgian Wit).
