Maui Expands to Alaska

Kihei, Hawaii – Maui Brewing Co. is excited to bring their craft beer to the great State of Alaska in the summer of 2015. This expansion marks the 12th state their beers can be found. By July of this year Alaska residents will be able to purchase beers in bars, restaurant, liquor stores and grocery stores.

“We’ve had many requests to bring our beer to Alaska and are extremely excited that our recent expansion in Kihei will allow us to offer our authentic Hawaiian beer to a new audience of craft beer lovers,” states MBC National Sales Manager Pete Scheider.

Maui Brewing will partner with Odom Distribution who will represent the brand statewide. Hawaiian favorites Bikini Blonde Lager, Big Swell IPA, and Coconut Porter will be available as well as a small amount of their current canned limited release, Kihei Kolsch, and other limited release draught beer.

Maui Brewing Co. is a craft brewery based on Maui and is Hawaii’s largest craft brewer. MBC operates a production brewery and tasting room in Kihei, as well as a brewpub in Kahana, and creates more than 50 different styles of craft beer on a rotating basis. Maui Brewing Co. is available in 12 states and five countries with more areas to follow.
