Louis Glunz Beer, Inc. Adds 3 Craft Breweries to Portfolio

LINCOLNWOOD, IL — This spring, Louis Glunz Beer, Inc. has expanded its portfolio to include three new Midwestern breweries in the Great Lakes region. The addition of Scorched Earth Brewing Company, Like Minds Brewing, and Lake Brothers Beer Co, reflects Louis Glunz Beer, Inc.’s mission to add blossoming local breweries to its diverse collection of craft, domestic, and import brewing partners.

“As brand builders, we are always looking to partner with passionate, talented and visionary brewery partners who add variety to our portfolio.” says President Jerry Glunz.

Scattered throughout the Great Lakes region (Wisconsin—Like Minds; Michigan—Lake Brothers; Illinois—Scorched Earth), all three breweries are being distributed across the Midwest. Each brand focuses on showcasing its Midwestern roots by sourcing local ingredients and creating distinct flavor profiles for each unique product. About Lake Brothers Beer Co.
Founders and brothers-in-law Sean Farrell and Mike Grodecki were inspired by the regional lager brands of yesteryear and decided to start a beer company that produces an easy-drinking lager built on the tradition of the Great Lakes region. Detroit’s newest beer contains just four all-American ingredients: hops (Liberty and Cluster), malted Midwestern barley, yeast, and Great Lakes water.

About Like Minds Brewing
With locations in Milwaukee and Chicago, Like Minds Brewing, focuses on layering flavors into every one of their beers. Like Minds works with multiple local and regional producers to source the best ingredients they can find, from their Wisconsin grown quince, to their Chicago brewed, Metric Cold Press Coffee.

About Scorched Earth Brewing Company
The brewery’s co-founder, optimist and perpetual dreamer – Mike Dallas – decided to turn his love of craft beer, homebrewing, and sharing his passion with others into a plan to open a brewery. Jen, his wife, was a bit skeptical after supporting so many of Mike’s “loves,”  but it was Mike’s drive, paired with Jen’s new found interest in craft beer that eventually led her to support his dream and transform their lives into brewery owners. Scorched Earth Brewing Company is located in Algonquin, IL.
