ASHEVILLE, N.C. — Hi-Wire Brewing at Golden Belt opened its doors to the public on Saturday, November 17 at 12 pm. Located at 800 Taylor Street in Durham, NC Hi-Wire Brewing’s new 10,522 square foot taproom features a large outdoor patio, 24 taps of Hi-Wire beer including one-offs, rare sour and wild ales, specialties not available anywhere else, guest wines and ciders on tap, and numerous games for entertainment.
The taproom can accommodate nearly 400 visitors and will be open to the public 3 p.m.-11 p.m. Monday-Thursday, Friday, 2 p.m.-12 a.m., Saturday 12 p.m.-12 a.m. and 1 p.m.-10 p.m. Sunday.
Keeping with tradition, Hi-Wire Brewing will be throwing a Grand Opening circus-themed party on Saturday, December 1 from 3 p.m.-10 p.m. The party will feature roving circus acts, a Rock-O-Plane spinning wheel, high striker, and aerial artists. Funk band, Lotus Sun, will be be providing the musical entertainment with two sets starting at 6:30.
Hi-Wire’s Grand Opening is free and open to the public and will highlight over 40 different Hi-Wire brews including flagships, specialties, and sour and wild ales. Food will be available from some of Durham’s favorite food trucks.
