STAMFORD, Conn. — Half Full Brewery (Half Full) & Lock City Brewing (Lock City) are excited to announce “Welcome to Fabulous Stam Vegas,” the first collaboration between the Stamford based breweries. “Welcome to Fabulous Stam Vegas” is a Sour IPA that combined each breweries strengths & created a partnership where each team learned something from the other.
“Since our breweries are both here in Stamford, it was only natural for our first collaboration brew to be with each other. Half Full & Lock City are both incredibly invested in seeing Stamford grow as a craft beer-centric community, but to also to grow and learn from each other. Our main motivation behind this beer was to create a beer that embodied Stamford, excited our community and let each brewery walk away with a new skill they can use, which is what we were able to accomplish.” Says Conor Horrigan, founder of Half Full.
Welcome to Fabulous Stam Vegas combines the tart refreshing flavor of a simple sour with the juicy hop hit of a hazy IPA. The result is a hazy, juicy beer with flavors of tropical fruit, lemon zest with a slightly tart finish at 5.5% ABV.
Welcome to Fabulous Stam Vegas will be released at Half Full Brewery on November 21st in draft & cans, with limited draft distribution only throughout CT after that.
