Church Street Brewing Company to Release Heavenly Helles with New Label

Itasca, IL — The Church Street Brewing Company (www.churchstreetbrew.com) is now officially releasing their award-winning Heavenly Helles beer with their new label – and, it’s cool! Church Street has always been recognized with delicious tasting lagers and ales, consistently releasing quality craft beer that appeals to its loyal customer base. They’ve been steadily growing the last five years and now distribute across Illinois, Missouri, and Florida, along with some international destinations. As they continue to grow, they’ve decided to start ‘changing up’ their labels and they seem to be having fun doing so! Over the next few months, there will be more new labels for their other award-winning beers – I got a sneak peek of their new Brimstone India Pale Ale label, which should be out there in the market next month – and, it’s also pretty cool! Church Street believes in supporting the local community, and therefore engaged a couple of Chicago-based artists, Nikki Miller and Mike Coduti, who have become friends of Church Street and are very passionate about art and various causes.

Nikki has been heavily involved in the art community the past 13 years – mainly focused on creating “artwork with a cause”. She started curating art shows six years ago to help fellow artists all over the world, as well as holding art shows that benefit charitable organizations to help those in their fight against cancer. Being a cancer survivor herself, she knows firsthand the struggles of being a young adult faced with the deadly disease. She works mainly with charcoal, acrylic and spray paint. Her work can be best described as darker subjects with bright colors. Some of her favorite artists include Salvador Dali, Miss Van, Daim and all of the artists she’s had the pleasure of working with. Mike has been drawing and pursuing art his whole life. When he was younger, he worked on studying comic book art, and during his teens and early twenties he was a graffiti writer. Now, he has turned his work into fine line work primarily black ink. He has studied numerous art forms and studied at the art institute. His work is primarily darker and influenced by classic artists such as Albrecht Durer and Gustav Dore. He is also influenced by nature, mythology, theology, and gothic imagery.

The Church Street Brewing Company is located in a western suburb of Chicago – Itasca, Illinois (about 30 minutes from the city). They have a taproom open every day: Mon-Thu 5pm-10pm, Fri 4pm-11pm, Sat 12pm-11pm, Sun 12pm-7pm.
