Catawba Brewing Releases Small Batch Passion Fruit Gose

MORGANTON, N.C. — Catawba Brewing taps a Passion Fruit Gose (5.4 percent ABV) on Thursday, November 2. This refreshing wheat ale was soured in the kettle with Lactobacillus, and features additions of passion fruit puree and sea salt.

The beer is a fundraiser for the Asheville Jewish Community Center. Catawba will donate $1 from each pour to the non-profit to be used toward early education initiatives and a new aquatics facility. Asheville JCC representatives will be at the brewery’s South Slope location on the release day (5-10pm) with more information about this exciting project.

Passion Fruit Gose is Passport Beer #44 in Catawba’s 2017 Small Batch rewards program. Brewed in their Asheville South Slope brewhouse, the beer is available in Catawba’s four tasting rooms, and in limited distribution.
