This week on Brewbound Frontlines, an expert panel of marketers will discuss how they have changed the way breweries communicate with consumers during the first seven months of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Beer industry marketing professionals will discuss how breweries have adapted their messaging as the months have rolled on, how the channels they use to reach drinkers have changed, what consumers need to know before visiting breweries, and how to hold drinkers’ attention on social media.

Joining the panel will be Cameron Davis, marketing director at Atlanta Brewing Company; Megan Baker, director of digital strategy for Mass. Bay Brewing Company, maker of Harpoon and other brands; and Emily Hutto, founder of RadCraft, a craft beer-centric communications agency.

Since the pandemic began, craft breweries nationwide have pivoted to new business models to adhere to changing public health policy. Each change — whether it was to close for on-site service, reopen for curbside sales, or to reintroduce socially distant events — needs to be communicated clearly to drinkers. This week’s panelists have shepherded their brands through these processes and will share their experiences and strategies.
