ST. LOUIS — Brew Hub, a company led by a team of beer industry executives and craft-brewing experts, is introducing two new craft beers to the Florida market.

Pool Hop All Season IPA is a session IPA brewed with two-row malt and a blend of Cascade, Centennial, Chinook, Citra, Cluster, Columbus and Crystal hops. This blend of North American hops gives the beer a fresh, citrusy aroma and crisp hop finish. Pool Hop is 4.5 percent alcohol by volume and 40 IBUs.

Diver Down is an imperial red ale brewed with two-row caramel Munich barley and Magnum and Willamette hops. The beer is a rich, malty ale with a ruby-red hue and a thick, frothy head of foam. Diver Down is 8.0 percent alcohol by volume and 40 IBUs.

Pool Hop and Diver Down are available now in six-packs of 12-ounce cans and on draught in fine craft beer establishments throughout Florida.

“The launch of Pool Hop and Diver Down is a huge milestone for our company, but we are just getting started,” said Tim Schoen, CEO of Brew Hub. “Just last month we launched Keybilly Island Ale, which was the first beer in our Craft Collection, and the response from craft beer drinkers in Florida has been overwhelmingly positive.”

“The demand for high-quality craft beer in Florida continues to be almost insatiable,” continued Schoen. “It’s an exciting time, and the response from beer wholesalers and retailers has been really gratifying.”

Pool Hop and Diver Down will be available through the following wholesalers:

  • J.J. Taylor (Tampa)
  • Gold Coast Beverage (Palm Beach, Broward, Miami-Dade and Monroe counties)
  • Florida Distributing Company (Orlando)
  • Champion Brands (Jacksonville)
  • Tri-Eagle Sales (Ocala/Tallahassee)
  • Daytona Beverages (Daytona)

Brew Hub introduces Pool Hop All Season IPA and Diver Down/March 24, 2015

Brew Hub was founded in 2012 in St. Louis. The company is building a network of new, state-of-the-art craft breweries across the country. Brew Hub opened its first brewery in Lakeland, Florida, in August 2014 and plans to open its second brewery in May 2016 in St. Louis. The St. Louis brewery will feature a 3,000-square-foot tasting room and biergarten. The company will employ approximately 55 people at its St. Louis brewery in brewing, operations, front office and in the tasting room.

Brew Hub provides full brewing, packaging, distribution and selling services for craft brewers that are constrained by capacity, geography or capital. The company plans to have five breweries located throughout the country.

Partner brewing is a process that allows craft breweries to brew and package their beer at Brew Hub under the supervision of their own brewmaster. Brew Hub also offers its partners services, including sales, marketing, logistics, legal, and government affairs. Partner brewing allows craft brewers to expand their distribution without the overhead costs of building a new brewery or the complexity of contract brewing at third-party facilities.

Brew Hub was founded and is led by CEO Tim Schoen. Brew Hub’s financial sponsor is a private investment firm, The Yucaipa Companies.
