Atomic Dog Hard Cider is an independent, Northeast-rooted cider brand navigating its next chapter of focused growth. The business is centered on simplifying the portfolio, tightening price positioning, and winning through disciplined distributor execution in priority markets.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives in a lean environment, values clarity over complexity, and can translate strategy into results at the distributor and account level.


The Role

The VP of Sales is responsible for leading all commercial execution across off- and on-premise channels. This role owns distributor performance, pricing discipline, and sales focus while working closely with the owner and cross-functional partners to stabilize and grow the business.

This is not a large-team management role—it’s a player/coach position suited for a builder.


Key Responsibilities

· Own national and regional sales strategy with a focus on priority markets

· Lead and manage distributor relationships, including goal setting and execution follow-up

· Drive disciplined SKU focus across channels (core 6-pack, 19.2oz, draft where appropriate)

· Ensure clear, consistent pricing and promotion execution

· Establish simple sales priorities and communicate them effectively to distributor partners

· Track performance, identify risks, and course-correct quickly

· Partner with operations, finance, and marketing to align inventory, pricing, and brand efforts

· Serve as the primary commercial voice to the owner


Ideal Candidate Profile

· 7–12 years of beverage alcohol sales experience (cider, beer, RTD, or wine)

· Proven success working with distributors in lean or emerging brands

· Comfortable operating without large support teams

· Strong communicator who can simplify and prioritize

· Data-informed but execution-focused

· Northeast market familiarity strongly preferred
