Mare Island Brewing Company

Apply for Job

Mare Island Brewing Co. in Vallejo, CA is searching for a Brewer to add to our ranks.

Our Coal Shed Brewery is located on the waterfront on the former Mare Island Naval Shipyard. Opened in 2017, we transformed this historic Navy coal shed into an 8,000 sq. ft brewery and taproom.

We brew on a 15bbl Prospero brewhouse and 1bbl Blichmann pilot system. In August 2020, we installed a brand-new CODI 6-head counter- pressure filling canning line with depalletizer and in-line labeler. We have an awesome, tight-knit and dedicated production team. Our third retail taproom location opened in June, and we are self-distributed throughout the Bay with over 120 current and active accounts. We have been experiencing rapid expansion in 2021, with two new fermenters installed and three more on the way, we have already beat our record production and have doubled capacity in 9 months.  The only piece we are missing at this point is you.

The Brewer position at Mare Island Brewing Co. has plenty of room for growth and will report directly to the Head Brewer.
