The primary objective of the position is to effectively manage the growth of assigned Craft Beer portfolios via strategic decision making and objective setting with the sales and operations department. The Craft Brand Manager is responsible for the day-to-day functions, as well as the big picture success, of their assigned brands.


Position Demands:
Requires knowledge of sales and merchandising techniques
Knowledgeable of ABC regulations which govern our industry
Must have strong organizational, time management and leadership skill
Requires proficiency in written and verbal communication
Must attain a strong understanding of supplier portfolio standards
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, Data Management (VIP/IRI/Nielsen)
Principal and Basic Duties:
Work closely with the VP of Sales and Marketing as well as the Business Development Manager to implement agreed upon supplier and in-house annual business plan goals.
Work closely with sales organization to implement supplier standards as they pertain to all channels of trade
Work closely with internal Procurement Team to develop accurate and complete inventory forecasts
Development and execution of strategic initiatives to drive growth for assigned portfolio across all classes of trade
Training of sales staff on portfolio, supplier standards, and selling stories relative to assigned portfolio
Communication and tracking to ensure successful execution of on and off premise chain programs
Collaboration with internal department heads to attain objectives
Work closely with supplier representatives conducting in-field training, ride-alongs, and surveys
Qualifications & Education Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
Cicerone Certification and experience selling Craft Beer preferred.
3 - 5 years of experience managing sales personnel preferred
Food & Beverage experience preferred
Must be able to work flexible hours and shifts
Must be able to travel as required for the role
Possess valid CA driver license with a clean driving record
