The Packaging Supervisor is responsible for the execution of all packaging-related operations at Blackberry Farm Brewery, as well as supporting the Brewmaster with administrative and general business operations, as assigned. On-packaging shifts, Supervisor will assist in Production/Cellar work as needed.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.  Other duties may be assigned.


  • Policies and Procedures:
    • Standard Operating Procedures
      • Create, manage, ensure accuracy and communication of all packaging and maintenance policies and SOPs
      • Periodic review of materials and update as needed
      • Implement and ensure proper execution of established SOPs
  • Inventory Management and materials ordering
      • Monitor inventory levels and order when necessary, according to pars
      • Proper documentation and tracking of materials transfers and removals
  • Operations:
    • Staffing
      • Schedule staff to adequately cover all packaging shifts
      • Daily shift supervision
  • Attention to detail with regards to Blackberry Farm standards




  • Business Management
    • Inventory and Purchasing
      • Collaborate with Warehouse Supervisor and Brewmaster, as assigned
      • Review for accuracy
    • Software
      • Working knowledge of Ekos production software, others as assigned


Must comply with all company policies and procedures.

To perform the essential functions of this position regular and consistent attendance is required.

Must be able to work well with other Team Members, Managers and interact with our guests.


  • Supervises packaging shifts


  • Strong computer literacy, including experience with Outlook, Excel and Word.


  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be able to communicate with all levels of Team Members and Guests in a professional and courteous manner


  • Understanding of basic math


  • Must be able to exercise judgment and make decisions based on job knowledge and awareness of company goals


  • Ability to frequently sit, twist, stoop, kneel, crouch, and stand for long periods of time
  • Must be able to lift 55 pounds repeatedly, and 165 lbs. with a partner
  • Willing to work in wet, hot, and cold conditions
  • Must be able to safely operate a company vehicle or golf cart


  • Must be able to work outside in all weather conditions in 9,200 acres of Blackberry Farm property
  • Must be able to work in the Brewery Taproom and Warehouse
