7 Devils Brewing Co. is a thriving brewery and public house in Coos Bay, the largest town on the Oregon Coast. We are building a larger, waterfront location and are hiring General Manager help create the coolest ale house on the Southern Oregon coast and shepherd it to sustainability. 7 Devils aims to be a socially, ethically and environmentally responsible company where passionate people converge to create a positive environment and inspired products.  We’re looking for a creative and experienced individual who would like to work for a company with the best interest of its community at heart. Job Description

The General Manager will be responsible for leading all alehouse operations and will work with and report directly to ownership. Additionally, the General Manager is responsible for implementing the message and culture of the 7 Devils brand.  This role gives the General Manager the ability to inspire the staff and patrons, as well as the creativity to develop innovative ideas with ownership.

Job Type:Full-time

Compensation:Salary based on experience, SIMPLE IRA with 3% match, gym membership, paid vacation, flexible unpaid leave

Education:Bachelor’s Degree, preferably with an emphasis in business or hospitality

Experience:

  • Restaurant Experience: 5+ years
  • Management Experience: 2+ years

 

Responsibilities:

· Provide our guests an incredible experience

· Cultivate a positive and rewarding work environment

· Recruit, hire, train, develop and supervise FOH employees

· Coordinate daily Front of House and Back of House restaurant operations

· Work with our chef/kitchen manager on hiring, scheduling, ordering of food, supplies, and weekly/monthly inventory

· Create detailed reports on weekly, monthly and annual revenues and expenses. Work with the owner and chef to control costs and ensure profitability

· Create standard operating procedures for front and back of house operations

· Ensure compliance with all Food, Alcohol and Safety regulations

· Manage ordering and receipt of all inventory

· Work with the owners to develop and promote the company brand and ethos through marketing, non-profit partnerships and events

 

Requirements:

· Proven experience as a restaurant manager

· Extensive Food and Beverage knowledge

· Preferred knowledge and appreciation of Craft Beer

· Strong leader who can build, train, and lead a team

· Ability to manage every aspect of the brewpub from operations, P & Ls, inventory, staffing and marketing

· Familiarity with restaurant management software
