The Position
We are seeking a skilled and hardworking individual to work in production with our incredibly talented and experienced team. The ideal candidate is highly self-motivated, detail-oriented, and infinitely curious. This is a full-time, salaried position that requires very flexible availability.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
Safely cleaning and maintaining high sanitation standards
CIP of all equipment based on Standard Operating Procedures
Brewhouse operation of a 3-vessel 15 BBL brewhouse
Weekly wort, cider, and mead production
Weekly cellar operations of a 26 fermentation vessel brewery
Dry hopping and product preparation for transfer
Product transfers and operation of a centrifuge
Clarification and carbonation of products
Yeast collection, pitching, and monitoring
Daily operation of QC lab equipment to verify proper process
Cleaning kegs
Kegging products
Bottling products
Canning line operation
Barrel aging and processing of barrel-aged products
Safely operate forklift
Daily communicate and record data, and work
Adhere to QA/QC protocols
Contribute to other brewery, business, or staff needs as they are required

Physical requirements:
Standing and walking for long periods of time
Using hands and reaching for objects often
Able to kneel, crouch, bend, or twist
Able to climb ladders
Lift or carry up to 60 lbs
Adjust or manipulate up to 175 lbs
Ability to hear and communicate in a variably noisy work environment
Routine exposure to hot, humid, cold, and/or wet environments
Ideal Qualifications:
2+ years experience in a brewery, winery, or distillery
Ability to work flexible hours in an ever-changing schedule
Deep understanding of brewing, cellaring, and packaging procedures
Problem-solving skills
Strong work ethic and time-management skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Must be 21 years or older
Able to operate a forklift and pallet jack
