Revolution’s innovative and tasty beers are selling all over Chicago and the Midwest, and all this flowing beer needs a fresh take on how it’s hitting the market. We’re hiring a Sales Analyst to provide insight on what our distributors and retail partners need, and how consumers want to buy our beer. The main focus will be developing and maintaining reports and tools for sales analytics relating to sales, programming execution, and insights into the direction of craft beer.
Using data from sources like VIP, IRI, and Karma notes, you’ll create meaningful observations on category and channel sales. Help us understand what’s already happened and then what’s likely to happen next, making quantitative projections for our forecasts and budgets. You’ll be looking at various metrics to see our progress in meeting goals and keep Rev’s leadership informed on competitive activity. You’ll create compelling stories heard by our distributors and retail partners at Annual Business Presentations and other critical meetings, providing critical product and market insights.
Why You’ll Be Great:
- You’ll have a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business or Economics plus 3 – 5 years of experience in a professional business role, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience in food & beverage is preferred.
- There will be expertise with Microsoft Excel at an advanced level in your repertoire, with a history of building and updating data models used in engaging presentations.
- At previous roles you’ll have had experience with consumer analytics services, preferably VIP, iRi, and Karma Notes.
- Project management skills and the ability to independently prioritize your work is supported by your strong attention to detail. You’ve successfully met deadlines in a fast paced environment, with proven flexibility to pivot as you continuously learn and grow.
