Job Summary

The Blake’s Marketing Director (BMD) facilitates a close working relationship between our talent and the company through communication and cooperation. The BMD is a passionate, creative and organized individual with strong experience in marketing, project management, and digital media. This position involves coordinating marketing efforts and acting as a client manager to all Blake Properties. Supporting the “clients” (retail managers) can range from conceptualizing brand specific campaigns to assisting in updating signage and menus, enhancing displays, refreshing product mixes, and building social calendars. The BMD will build out strategies by company/location with quarterly goals and monthly campaign performance evaluations.


Responsibilities and Duties

·        Building and managing a strong relationship with the clients of Blake’s (retail managers)

Manage and lead the Blake's Marketing Team including coaching, evaluation and development.

·        Drive a weekly round-table with each client that establishes goals that marketing can assist with, creates strategies for reaching said goals, and evaluates performance of past campaign strategies

·        Present client needs to Digital Director, Creative Director and Brand Director weekly to establish priority of tasks with design team

·        Conceptualize and build campaign strategies for big-picture initiatives for Blake Farms and Blake’s Hard Cider

·        Build a monthly social content calendar for Blake Farms, Blake’s Tasting Room, Blake’s Backyard, and Blake’s Brewing Company

·        Present analytics monthly to Digital Director on the performance and growth of managed social channels

·        Complete and deliver weekly metrics from the Blake’s Digital Dashboard that analyzes and summarizes campaign spends and performance

·        Must be available to work weekends and Holidays

Education, Knowledge & Skills

·        Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications or related program required. 

·        3-5 year’s of experience managing a Marketing strategy

3-5 year's of experience leading a team

·        Experience with technologies and best practices for media campaigns across multiple platforms

·        Proficient computer skills, Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel)

·        Outstanding communication skills between marketing dept and clients

·        Clear understanding of effective marketing strategies, materials, and channels

·        Experience preparing and presenting goals and forecasts for future projects

·        Excellent written communication skills including experience in developing press releases, blog features, and basic copywriting to be distributed on social channels

·        Experience with MailChimp

·        Knowledge of Adobe Acrobat, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Google Analytics, and basic video editing

·        Strong understanding and eye for the details of tangible marketing, i.e. signage and display enhancers

·        Experience with Project Management and Gantt chart software
