New Trail is a Top-20 craft brewery in sales in the state of Pennsylvania.  We nearly tripled production from 2019 to 2020, with plans to continue sustainable sales growth.

The Regional Sales Representative will be tasked with this continued growth of New Trail by interacting with established and new customers and consumers, developing new market growth. The position is responsible for ensuring that goals are met by strategically increasing sales volume through sustainable growth. This position involves most of your time in the field visiting accounts, educating and building existing and new relationships in order to forge strong partnerships, brand loyalty and excitement for new and existing products. This candidate will join us to build into the future.



The ideal candidate;

  • Is persistent, resourceful and passionate
  • Has 2+ years of influential sales experience in the craft beverage industry
  • Possesses strong communication and presentation skills
  • Is flexible and always learning
  • Is Solutions Oriented, Self-Motivated and Results Driven
  • Meets expectations and goals with minimal supervision
  • Will coordinate heavily with our wholesale partners to facilitate sales
  • Completed Pennsylvania RAMP Certification or has the ability to reach certification within the first week
  • Brings proficiency with Google applications, Microsoft or Mac desktop OS, and mobile Android OS or iOS
  • Preferred experience with VIP systems
  • Exercises an extensive knowledge of craft beer, the industry, and emerging trends
  • Must be able to conduct themselves professionally in social settings
  • Has and will maintain a clean driving record
  • Must be 21+ years of age

Job Responsibilities;

  • Maintain relationships with On- and Off-Premise Accounts, as well as the wholesaler, in a large Regional Territory
  • Create significant professional relationships with Top 40 accounts
  • Maintain ownership of inventory at the territory wholesaler and accounts
  • Develop allocation guidelines for limited brand releases and communicate these to the wholesaler
  • Observe all state and federal laws for the sale, merchandising, and promotion of brewery products
  • Achieve goals for growth set by Sales Manager
  • Visit existing and new accounts, track and monitor sales growth and missed opportunities
  • Meet with 70+ accounts per week, 2+ meetings per day being prearranged
  • Leverage reporting tools to increase sales
  • Submit sales reports
  • Assist distributor partners in promoting sales and marketing programs
  • Create and Accept product samplings, on-premise events, or other Brand Engagement opportunities which may fall on nights and weekends
  • Make decisions that are beneficial to both New Trail and its accounts
