Responsibilities:

  • Distilling tasks: mashing, fermenting, distilling, clean-up, etc.

    • Maintain production distillation records in compliance with TTB regulations 

  • Cellaring tasks: liquid transfer, barrel management, etc.

    • Maintain storage records in compliance with TTB regulations

  • Work with production team on recipe development

  • Develop a production schedule ensure synergy with distribution schedules

    • Adhere to production schedule and meet production deadlines

  • Packaging tasks: proofing, bottling, labeling, documenting, preparing distribution pickups, clean-up, etc.

    • Maintain processing (packaging) records in compliance with TTB regulations

  • File necessary paperwork with TTB for label and formula approval

    • Work with design department to ready labels for TTB submission and print

  • Assist in setting up & attending community outreach events, including: Tastings, Bar Events, Festivals, etc.


Qualification and Skills: 

  • Required Experience: 1+ Years of Commercial Distilling

  • Comprehensive knowledge of the craft beverage industry and emerging trends.

  • Organized, self-motivated, efficient, and have high standards for product.

  • Desire to create new and exciting spirit based products, including RTDs, liqueurs, whiskies, gins, etc.

  • Ability to lift 35lbs and use dolly to transport/maneuver 170lbs Kegs.

  • Associates or Bachelor in related field is preferred.

  • Illinois Basset Certification must be completed before start date.

  • Optional: Server-Certified Cicerone or Certified Cicerone.


Compensation:
