Get to Know This Role

The Guest Experience Manager is responsible forbringing the Sierra Nevada brand to life through operational excellence and a guest centric engagement through a service culture.  This role involves building and developing programs, which align with our brand promise and marketing programs.  The Guest Experience Manager is a key member of the Guest Experience Admin team.  The role partners with cross-functional managers and leaders to ensure "Best in Class" brand experiences.  The Guest Experience Manager is responsible for the development and management of the ancillary business budget, as well as accountable for departmental P&L, Operating profit and net profit.  The Guest Experience Manager is accountable for the onsite Gift Shop, Tours and First Impression businesses and teams.


What You Will Do 

  • Provide cross functional leadership in Guest Experience and ensure guest experience(s) align with brand standards
  •  Provide strategy for training, development and succession planning for the team
  •  Drive top line revenue and bottom-line net profit contribution to the organization through Gift Shop and Tour program revenue
  •  Develop brand aligned tour programs to build diversification of experiences and develop new revenue streams
  •  Develop partnerships with Marketing and Sales teams to build equity in the Sierra Nevada Brand through on-site experiences
  •  Owner of First Impression Systems, operations and efficiencies to add greater value and engage to our guests
  •  Lead onsite Gift Shop ancillary business through operational excellence and service culture standards
  •  Embodies the Guest Experience Mission and Vision
  •  Ensure effective inventory controls and management
  •  Accountable for development and management of team budgets
  •  Develop and build a high performance and high contributing team
     

 
Please Apply if you have

  • Bachelor's Degree or any combination of education and/or experience from which comparable knowledge, skills, and abilities have been achieved   
  • 5 years Previous management of budget and P&L process and planning required  
  • 3 years management or supervisory experience required    
  •  Craft beverage or lifestyle brand experience preferred
  • Proven track record of building and developing high performing teams
  • Ability to lead collaboratively in an environment that values creativity and adaptability
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Planning, prioritizing, organizing and time management skills
  • Computer skills including experience with the Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to multi-task and remain calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Ablity to be self-motivated, energetic and be able to adapt quickly to change

 

 Additional Requirements to Consider Before Applying

  • You must be at least 21 years of age to work for Sierra Nevada Brewing Co.
  • CA Food Handler's Card required upon hire
  • TIPS Alcohol Certification within 90 Days required
  • Intro to Craft Beer training certification within 90 Days required
  • Selected candidate must pass a pre-employment, post offer background check
