- As a brewer you will be responsible for monitoring and carrying out brew house, fermenting filtration, blending processes and operations in the execution of the daily work schedule in a safe, timely and efficient manner.
- Lead by example in upholding the Company’s Core Values and promoting a positive and constructive working environment
- Perform all brew house procedures, including milling malt, mashing in brews, monitoring boils in the wort kettle, transferring to fermenters, and pitching yeast
- Cleaning and sanitizing all equipment used in the brew house and cellar
- Keeping accurate records of all brewing procedures including temperature and flow monitoring
- Sensory analysis of various products
- Follow inventory procedures for all raw materials and assist with inventory counts as requested
- Ensure that the brew house and surrounding areas are clean and organized
- Perform routine equipment maintenance and communicate any equipment issues to the QA Manager in a timely manner
- Constantly strive for improvement by looking for ways to make things better, safer, faster or by reducing costs
- When needed, assist with accepting deliveries and other warehousing operations
- Assist in other areas of the brewery on an as-needed basis
Qualifications:
- 21 years of age or older
- High School diploma or equivalent (GED)
- 2 years experience in brewing beer in a facility producing 15K bbls or more

- Manually manipulating parts, pumps and hoses

- Required to handle objects, tools and controls
- Use of heavy machinery, including hand pallet jacks and forklift operation
