Saint Patrick’s Brewing Company was established in 2012 by founder, Chris Phelps. For the first three years of existence, SPBC only brewed bottle-conditioned lager beers. Our cold fermented brews ranged from traditional styles like a Helles to highly experimental beer, such as our cold-fermented fruited saisons, lagered imperial stouts and our Pumpkin Vanilla Chai Lager. In 2015, we opened our Littleton, Colorado taproom and beer garden right on the South Platte River.

As 2019 approached and times changed in the craft beer industry, we sold our taproom so that we could focus on the production and distribution of our beers. You can now find SPBC beers throughout the state of Colorado at your local grocery stores, liquor stores and restaurants.

2021 will be a year of growth for SPBC. Existing beers are being improved, new beers are being launched and our distribution footprint will grow substantially.

The position:

This position will focus mainly on account sales but please bring your marketing knowledge along with your network of contacts. This position will require someone proficient in reporting and database management - someone who can design and develop a successful plan that leads to positive, measurable results. We are seeking an inspiring person who shares our passion for growth and can demonstrate their ambition through interesting and demanding professional roles and education.   • Travel by car in CO with possibility of overnight trips 1x per month
  • Office to use as a base near Arapahoe & University Blvd. that includes a 1 bbl test batch brewing system
  • Salary plus commission
  • Projected OTE for year one $50,000+
  • Stipend for phone, health insurance and personal vehicle

Requirements:

  • Must have strong network and understanding of Colorado accounts
  • Entrepreneurial spirit
  • Valid US driver’s license and clean driving record
  • Reliable transportation
  • Understanding of the wholesaler network / processes and three-tier system
  • Working knowledge of MS Office
  • Sales call experience
  • Must be 21+ years old
  • Effective communications / presentation, follow-up, administrative and organizational skills
  • Ability to work and drive positive results in a fast-paced, team environment

Other positive attributes:

  • Working knowledge of VIP/KARMA
  • Sales and / or marketing experience in CPG or beverage industries
  • Experience working with and familiarity of local beer distribution network
  • College degree in relative field of study
  • Brewing knowledge

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute account sales strategies alongside Regional Sales Director
  • Sales calls to existing and new accounts
  • Work alongside distributors and hold them accountable for retail execution
  • Recap all successes and potential opportunities on a weekly basis
  • Remain in consistent communication with chain managers
  • Pre-plan on a daily, weekly and monthly basis - consistently execute plans in a timely manner
