Mayflower Brewing Company, located in historic Plymouth, MA, is looking to add a detail-oriented, reliable and mechanically-inclined individual to our packaging team. The Packaging Technician position involves maintaining/running high-speed machinery on the canning line and cleaning/filling kegs. This is a full-time, hourly position with benefits (including health insurance).
Prior packaging/brewery experience is preferred. Responsibilities include the day-to-day operation of a rotary canning lines, including proper CIP and sanitation, counter-pressure filling, can seaming, and maintenance. In addition, you will be responsible for other aspects of beer packaging including cleaning and filling kegs, routine brewery cleaning and sanitation, and loading / unloading trucks.

• Strong focus on product quality, efficiency, and attention to detail
• Able to adjust to a changing production schedule
• Maintain a high level of cleanliness in all operations

• Interest in learning and growing with the company
• Work on your feet for over eight hours at a time
• Work in hot / cold temperature extremes for extended periods of time
• Work in damp / wet areas or confined spaces
• Work in loud production environment
• Must be able to reach over head, twist / turn, stoop, crouch, kneel
• Lift up to 165 pound kegs as needed
• Operate in a safe manner, including wearing protective eye / ear wear and gloves
• Ensure proper chemical handling
• Drive a forklift (we will teach you if needed)
• Previous experience in a production brewery (a plus)
• Interest in craft beer and the brewing process
