Common Space Brewery is a 2-year young Production Brewery and Taproom in Hawthorne, CA. We are currently seeking a Key Account and Sales Representative to join our growing team.

Position Summary

The Key Account and Sales Representative (Rep) will be responsible for leading our push into Chain and Strategic Partnerships and covering and growing a specific existing territory (Downtown/East LA or Long Beach/OC). The Rep will report directly to the CEO, as well as coordinate with our Director of Brewing Operations and Distribution Team. 

Common Space Brewery is focused on delivering an unforgettable customer experience and this must be a team effort. All members of Common Space will work closely with the Rep to achieve our goals. The Rep will serve as the embodiment of our ideals to our retail partners. Brand experience, commitment to quality and freshness, and loyalty to our accounts are paramount to our success. Focus on generating partner revenue and bottom line through sales of Common Space Beer will be your primary goal.  Since we are a start-up brewery, willingness to roll up your sleeves and wear several hats to help CSB shine day in and out will be necessary. 

The Ideal Candidate Must Be:

  • Team-oriented, coachable and entrepreneurial

  • Experienced in sales with a focus on leadership and ability to mentor

  • Inspired by the opportunity to bring people together through craft beer and driven to improve the lives of others

  • Personable and passionate about your ability to create new relationships with partners and customers every day

  • Fanatical about beer quality and customer experience

  • Eager to learn, hungry for challenges, and constantly looking to grow

  • Adaptable to perform all jobs as needed in a fast-paced self-distribution environment

  • Able to work within a close-knit team of brewers, managers, and delivery drivers

  • Analytical and experienced in Lilypad, or equivalent CRM

  • Familiarity with California ABC regulations


  • Clean driving record and a valid driver’s license

  • At least 21 years of age

  • Ability to perform deliveries including the ability to lift and move kegs and cases of beer up to 160 lbs

  • Ability to climb, kneel, and stoop to arrange and display point of sale frequently

  • Must be able to travel

  • Must be able to work flexible hours/days, including weekend events

We are excited about any other skills you bring to the team, including, but not limited to:

  • Existing retail relationships

  • Warehouse, trucking or logistics experience

  • LEAD or Cicerone training

  • Marketing and branding knowledge

  • Expert knowledge of the Dodgers
