Sr. Key Account Manager Jiant Hard Kombucha – Southern California

Overview

Jiant is looking for a Sr. Key Account Manager to play a critical role in leading the Jiant efforts in our backyard. This role is equal parts Key Account Manager and distributor leader with unlimited opportunity to learn, grow and create the future with us as a prominent player in an exploding category. Long-term relationships with key accounts and distributor network (Stone Distributing) a huge bonus!

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Key Account Management

  • Develops strategic partnerships with key ON and OFF premise account buyers – independent retailers and venues with a strategic emphasis on chain retailers.

  • Leads the communication flow of new items, authorization lists, and programming with our retailers.

  • Schedules, prepares for and conducts regular meetings and presentations with potential and current chain and independent buyers (On and Off-Premise).

  • Owns day-to-day administrative support for chains and distributor KAMs.

 

Distributor Management 

  • Support our Southern California distribution partner as a primary point of contact.

  • Collaborates with key distributor contacts to execute chain business, broad-market account and additional Jiant opportunities.

  • Takes lead on communication of new items, authorization lists, and programming with distribution teams and Team Jiant to ensure execution. 

 

Job Requirements

  • Utilizes Sales Tools (VIP, Nielsen. SPINS, IRI) to establish category leadership. 

  • Effective management of chain and account business at a detailed, exceptional level.

  • Keeps an organized schedule – you’ll be part of a lean team and will juggle multiple projects and priorities at the same time.

  • Other duties, responsibilities and activities may change or be assigned over time.

  • This is a full-time role that will require safe travel within the assigned territory 

  • Position reports to VP of Sales and will also work closely with founders

  • Compensation commensurate with experience and highly competitive
