As the Cocktail Sales Manager at 10 Barrel Brewing Co., you are responsible for establishing and implementing sales strategies, managing sales budgets, executing marketing programs and events, increasing brand presence and developing new business while maintaining existing account relationships. You will be accountable for delivering overall volume, distribution, merchandising, and pricing performance across all existing and future expansion markets for the cocktail brand family. Additionally, this position will focus on managing wholesaler relationships as well as major customer relationships including independent, regional chain and national chain accounts in off-premise and on premise.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Work directly with Sr. Sales Director, Key Account Manager, and National Sales Manager to develop 10 Barrel’s cocktail sales strategy to ensure the execution of company sales goals and profitability in given geographic location

  • Devote up to 30% of time in the field developing relationships with existing on and off-premise accounts while constantly pushing to open new accounts

  • Execute and track identified metrics/KPI’s (Sales, Distribution, Displays, POS, Incentives, Pricing and Competitive Activity), and provide timely feedback to both distributors and management team.

  • Maintain consistent dialogue with our distribution partners to ensure 10 Barrel remains a priority in their portfolios

  • Meet and exceed monthly sales goals for volume, displays, and other internal initiatives

  • Participate in monthly wholesaler planning, sales meetings and presentations

  • Work closely with Innovation Brewing team utilizing individual product and customer knowledge to look for and consider new ways and new products to potential bring to the market

  • Identify and pursue opportunities to spread the cocktail portfolio through festivals, events, collaborations, new programs, etc.

  • Represent 10 Barrel by attending tastings and events when needed

  Job Qualifications 

  • 2-4 years of experience working in the craft beverage industry working with distributor, supplier or retailer

  • Ability to travel (30%) to support the craft cocktail brand with the ability to work the occasional weekend and evening for events/festivals

  • Have a passion for beer or cocktails with a strong knowledge base.

  • Excellent communication skills both verbally and written

  • Be organized, self-disciplined, detail oriented, and sociable

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word)

  • Ability to analyze and present data

  • Good negotiation and organizational skills

  • Able to work in a fast paced and highly competitive environment

  • Ability to pass a drug and standard background check upon hire
