Los Angeles Area Sales Representative 

Divinely Different is fast growing start up with our flagship product ??Nectar being the first Asian Hard Seltzer distributed on the West Coast. Everyone jumping into the hard seltzer market seems to be doing the same thing… grapefruit, lime, mango, etc.

So we did something different.

Drawing inspiration from all the unique flavors that we grew up loving, we felt that there was a huge segment of consumers that were being ignored in the hard seltzer category.

Nectar is a smooth, light hard seltzer that pays homage to the various Asian communities and culture-shifters that shaped our early lives and made us who we are today.

What we are looking for:

We are seeking an enthusiastic sales professional to join the Divinely Different team and drive our success in our home market of Los Angeles. We are looking for someone who is a determined self-starter and has a passion for building relationships. The Divinely Different Sales Rep will cover all on and off premise sales and events throughout Los Angeles. In this role you will maintain sales relationships within existing accounts as well as work with our executive and distribution teams in establishing and opening new accounts within the region in order to drive sales and increase brand awareness. Day to Day Responsibilities 

  • Identify, establish, and maintain a close working relationship with existing and new retail accounts

  • Develop efficient sales routes and execute sales calls to on/off premise accounts 

  • Develop and maintain relationships with key grocery store chain accounts

  • Establish weekly target account list 

  • Coordinate orders with distribution team

  • Track and monitor progress with accounts

  • Coordinate and execute weekly events and tastings

  • Clearly and succinctly report to the Divinely Different management team weekly

  • Embrace and communicate Divinely Different's company culture

  • Build a foundation to streamline product placement in accounts

  • Represent Divinely Different at festivals and events

  • Organize and consolidate weekly orders from email, voicemail, and text messages from accounts to the distribution team.


Qualifications 

  • Must have 3+ years of beverage sales experience in Los Angeles

  • Experience in self distribution is preferred but not required

  • Candidates must have a passion and excitement for the explosive hard seltzer/better for you alcohol sector and have a desire be a part of a fast-paced, growing startup company

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills with the ability to interact effectively with customers, retailers, and management

  • Work with all employees of Divinely Different in an ego-free manner that is collaborative and respectful

  • Must be able to identify opportunities, build and maintain strong relationships

  • Good judgment with the ability to make timely and sound decisions

  • Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm

  • Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and inventory/sales management software such as VIP including iDIG 

  • Passion for interacting and meeting people

  • Strong interpersonal skills

  • Strong work ethic and the ability to multi-task, prioritize and adapt to changing situations

  • Dependable vehicle with valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and insurance.

  • Bilingual is preferred (English & Korean) but not a requirement

Compensation and Benefits 

Compensation will be highly competitive with industry / market rates, and will be experience-dependent. Will include a base salary, sales commissions, and performance-based bonuses.
