Deutsche Beverage Technology is a sanitary process equipment provider. Our core business is building craft breweries.  We also build systems for use in other industries such as distilleries, cold brew coffee, seltzer, nutraceuticals and the hemp/cannabis industry.

Account Manager

We are looking to add Account Managers to our Beverage and Process sales teams.

The Account Manager will partner with our design engineers and project managers to show industry professionals how a Deutsche Beverage Technology system is the best value choice for their business model.

Compensation is base pay PLUS multi-tier commission plan.

Responsibilities of the Account Manager

  • Ability to conduct business at all levels within a company with high ethical practice
  • Organized and self-motivated
  • Build a pipeline of customer leads using both traditional cold calls, professional networking and digital/social communication tools
  • Determine customer requirements on agreed upon service to exceed customer expectations
  • Be a technical liaison for customers; identifying and resolving customer pain points, involving other resources of Deutsche Beverage Technology as required
  • Develop, maintain and strengthen relationships as needed within customer base
  • Manage accounts to retain existing relationships and grow share of business
  • Exceed customer expectation to grow pipeline through referrals
  • Continuously build value of equipment and services
  • Identify business opportunities for company services
  • Create quotations and sales proposals for company services
  • Independently generate new sales revenue for your team
  • Collaborate with your team on pricing decisions, supplier selection and timing
  • Translate business opportunities into incremental revenues through strong selling
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously with a sense of urgency
  • Maintain and update accurate information in the company's operating systems and SalesForce
  • Provide responsive customer service and resolving customer issues quickly and efficiently
  • Understand and support the goals, policies and procedures of the company
  • Maintain confidentiality of company information
  • Up to 75% travel both in the United Stated and internationally


Qualifications of the Account Manager

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 2+ years of successful technical sales or outside sales experience with a proven sales track record
  • High computer application literacy with all Microsoft Applications
  • Must have a valid Driver’s License and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record
  • Self-Motivated
