Sales Representative

SF Bay Area - East Bay

Full-time, Salaried Exempt Outside Sales

We are looking to add a highly-motivated, entrepreneurially-minded, experienced sales professional who has a passion for launching and growing a category-leading, innovative and unique portfolio of craft beers. This is an exciting opportunity to join Buck Wild as a critical team member, one who wants to help shape the future of our young and exciting company by driving our success in the East Bay region of the San Francisco Bay Area.

As a Buck Wild Sales Representative, you will:

  • Grow beer sales through daily on-premise and off-premise account relationship

    development/management with key managers/buyers at target accounts

  • Increase brand presence

  • Ensure product quality through frequent key account calls and promotional events

  • Establish weekly target account lists and sales goals, with the ability to achieve and

    execute on such goals

  • Maintain logs and sales reports

  • Collaborate and implement sales and marketing strategies

  • Conduct product tastings and assessment appointments

  • Assume leadership role in implementing brewery initiatives with retailers/restaurateurs

  • Track and monitor progress with accounts

  • Organize and consolidate orders from email, voicemail, and text messages from

    accounts to distribution team

  • Use data to identify opportunities for new or expanded distribution, lost sales,

    incremental volume increases, activity tracking and other business insights

  • Ensure proper merchandising of Buck Wild at on and off premise accounts

  • Attend team meetings as requested

  • Represent Buck Wild at festivals and events such as, but not limited to, beer festivals,

    tastings, and promotions

  • Conduct training programs with retailers, restauranteurs, and consumers

  • Deliver product as needed

  • Additional duties may be assigned as necessary


  • A reliable vehicle
  • A valid CA driver's license, registration, insurance and clean driving record
  • Must reside in specific sales territory - East Bay of the San Francisco Bay Area


  • Minimum two years of industry experience
  • Strong knowledge of craft beer, key accounts, the local market, and its geography
  • Ability to prepare a detailed, practical sales execution plan
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships and maintain effective working relationships with top-level account decision makers
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Excellent oral, analytical, written, and presentation skills
  • Strong organizational & planning skills

  • Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 60 pounds
  • Must be able to participate in critical assessment of beers
  • The ability to travel via car on a regular basis
  • Regular visits to bars, restaurants, and retailers
